Meet Roscoe (they/them)
In a world that often feels overwhelming and unpredictable, you might find yourself stuck in patterns that hold you back from living the life you want. Maybe you're caught in cycles of self-criticism, stuck in the past, or paralyzed by anxiety about the future. You know things could be better, but figuring out how to get there feels like an impossible challenge. That’s where I come in—my goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward a more meaningful, connected life.
My Approach
In our virtual sessions, I blend psychoeducation, practical tools, and emotional processing to help you explore your identity, challenges, and goals—without judgment. We'll work together to align your actions with your values, whether it's pursuing creative projects, building deeper relationships, or finding relief from mental pressure.
I specialize in LGBTQ+ issues, including gender diversity and body image concerns, and provide support for depression, ADHD, panic attacks, and life transitions. Grounded in social justice, my approach is queer-affirming, sex-positive, and uses evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, and Strength-Based therapy to help you manage difficult thoughts and build resilience.

Qualifications & Background
I earned my Ed.M and M.A. in Mental Health Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University, and completed my clinical internship at the Institute for Human Identity, the longest-running provider of queer-affirming psychotherapy in the U.S. Outside of therapy, I’m an artist—having studied fine arts and drawing in undergrad, I maintain a personal art practice in my free time. I can also often be found reading or knitting with my cat, Lucy, who brings me as much comfort as I hope to offer you.
